Impatience is killing your business. Here’s a perfect example from a LinkedIn “influencer”: And I quote... ❝Your marketing should be working in 30 days. ↳ If it’s not, set it on fire → Start again. . The things that work well, work in 30 days or less. The things that don't, keep burning your pockets. . So, when a marketing agency is telling you: . ‘It's a long-term strategy’ ‘We have to invest more’ ’We need more testing’ . They’re talking bollocks.❞ End quote. Here’s the thing: Marketing takes iteration and repetition to work really well. And by “really well,” I mean producing exponential returns over time. But that’s only if you commit to something and give yourself enough time to get good at it. Which won’t happen if you have the attention span of a goldfish and keep starting over every 30 days. I’m not saying you should pour money into blackholes of marketing that don’t produce results. Or trust everything marketing agencies tell you. (I generally don’t recommend them for my clients). But perpetually pivoting means constantly starting over at the hardest part - the beginning. And never getting to the place where your marketing is producing exponential returns. Hell, if I only waited 30 days for things to “work,” I wouldn’t still be posting here. Disclaimer: I have no branding, SEO, YouTube, paid ads, or other marketing services that take longer than 30 days to work to sell you. But I have built and grown enough businesses to see that impatience and shortsightedness kills more of them than commitment to a good long game does. Hope this helps someone decide to get better at something today instead of starting over (and over, and over). 🏝️ Grab my UPDATED free training: 5 Steps To Scale Your Service Business: https://lnkd.in/eKdpsgeS
