After the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and MAP (Minimum Awesome Product), I’ve recently discovered MUP exists too! 😉 Are there any other alternative abbreviations related to MVP that you’re aware of?

How my day went?
I woke up just in time to do my morning routine and clock in at work (perks of working remotely). Checked my mails and replied to messages.
Since today is Friday, I needed to track the progress we've made this week and the work we've done. While at it, something came up so I hopped on an impromptu call with my teammates, having my breakfast at the same time.
Next, we had a series of discovery calls with top talents because one of the things we do at SupportPro [By SalesPlat] is provide organizations with top talent.
In between the discovery call breaks, I remembered it's my birth month, so I checked the calendar to see what day of the week it is. It's on a Friday - not bad! 💃🏼
I took a little break and caught my mind wandering about what to do for my birthday. Then I remembered the conversation I had with a friend about having a virtual career chat with other young professionals.
To be honest, I've not made up my mind yet. It's going to be a busy month and I'm skeptical about adding to my workload. I hope to make up my mind by Monday though!
I got back to having discovery calls and shortlisting candidates for a new role.
That's pretty much how my day went. How did your day go?
Happy new month to you! 🎉

EXAMPLES REQUESTED - a call out for your fave campaigns that particularly tapped in to one of your five senses
👩🏼🎓 I’m giving a lecture on Thurs about ‘sensory marketing’
OK…all marketing employs at least some of our senses eg sight, sound.
But which campaigns or brand marketing e.g. packaging, stick in your mind for dialling up, or playing with, a specific sense?
An unusual use of smell?
An ad that made made you want to touch it (creepy but effective)?
Or just a neat use of a format to appeal to our usual marketing-attune responses: I’m reminded of the bee buzzing ‘around the cinema’ from the Digital Cinema Media awards last year.
Please post below as it’ll all help enrich the seminar and make our future media brains a bit excited.
(FYI I’m also asking ‘non-media’ people this question to avoid too much naval gazing!)
PS if any keen students are reading this, please feel free to look up any examples and come with thoughts

🚨 ATTENTION! THIS IS A TEST!!! 🚨
I would like to test an algorithm on LinkedIn.
Can everyone that reads this leave a comment about anything they like.
Create engagement with other people in the comments section to see if it triggers LinkedIn to boost the post and reduce CPM.
I’m curious to see the results and will share my analytics with everyone in a week.
Does anyone know if increased engagement in the comments section boost the post?
Comment away!!!

My 5 key steps for building a successful luxury food brand👇
1. Know your Unique Value Proposition
↳ What makes your smoked salmon or artisanal cheese different?
2. Brand consistency rules here
↳ Keep your brand's voice and visuals consistent across ALL platforms. Think luxury brands like Godiva or Dom Pérignon keep a consistent look and feel.
3. Build a tribe around your brand
↳ Share the story behind your products:
- Who makes them?
- Where do the ingredients come from?
4. Social proof beats it all
↳ Encourage happy customers to leave reviews and share their experiences. Word of mouth always wins.
5. Invest in high quality packaging
↳ Looks matter. Make sure your packaging reflects the quality of your product.👇
I grew my client's ARR by 10% only by changing packaging of 1 of his products. He owns a sustainable fish farming business.
📌 Bonus tip: Collaborate with influencers who align with your brand values! Videos show experiences.
The best lesson I learned isn’t on the list. What do you think it is?
P.S. I want to hear from you! 🌸
Tell me about your favorite product and what makes it special in the comments!
P.P.S. Video is made by me, I loved how they packed our takeaway sushi. It's all about the experience!
