I'm a little embarrassed by my early days on LinkedIn.
I blasted the same invite to all first 20-30 connections. Maybe more.
“I saw you're into copywriting so I thought to connect”
- Bland
- Overused
- Void of personality
It worked and was easier for a while
until people on linkedin became more interested in genuine conversations and relationships.
So I started taking time to go through content, subscribe to or read newsletters, download freebies, etc so I could have something peculiar and genuine to say.
Point is, we all get used to patterns and so do your audience.
It's why templates stop being effective after they work for a while.
You have to switch things up often for your marketing to work.
Otherwise, you risk…
🔻 Falling constantly behind
🔻 Struggling with your inability to consistently connect with your audience.
🔻 Feeling overwhelmed and frustrated because what used to work no longer does.
Staying ahead means having a system that is…
🔥 Flexible and adaptable to these changes.
🔥 Optimised and constantly improved based on data-driven insights.
🔥 Streamlined and tailored to fit your business needs and schedule.
Not having time to catch up is understandable but not a good enough reason to stay behind.
P.s. did you get that invite from me?🙂
