Jan 2023: Struggling business
Dec 2023: Successful business
Here's the comparison:
Jan 2023:
→ No lead gen system
→ Winging writing content
→ Struggling for post ideas
→ 0 clarity in my offer + help
→ 1-2 clients working with me
→ Struggled for post confidence
→ Felt frustrated + upset most days
→ Felt like I'd lost myself in the journey
Dec 2023:
→ Efficient lead gen system in place
→ Clear + focused writing strategy
→ Clear content pillars + topics
→ 1 clear offer of how I help
→ 10+ clients in 2023
→ More confidence
→ More happiness
→ Less stress
→ More 'me'.
My number 1 secret to making this happen:
→ Daily growth.
Simple as that.
Small wins each day.
You don't need it figured out.
You just need to keep learning.

My biggest LinkedIn regret:
→ Not learning how to write hooks sooner.
The beginning of my journey went like this:
→ Wrote a post I was proud of
→ Hit 'post' and waited for it
→ Watched the post flop
→ Accepted defeat
→ Tried again
The main reason?
My hooks were rubbish.
So I learned + practiced them.
Here's how I did it:
1. I looked at other creators
2. I took inspiration from them
3. I looked for common themes
4. I started to understand why
5. I tested what I had learned
6. If it worked I kept it handy
7. If it didn't, I tweaked it
8. Rinse and repeat.
It sucks when a post flops.
I get it.
So give your posts the best chance.
Nail that hook.
Your future posts will thank you.
P.S - You can steal 31 of my best hook as templates. They're in the comments!

7 mistakes that get the LinkedIn police on you (avoid these):
1. Writing posts purely to brag about results
2. Writing posts with fake results for likes
3. DMing people with cold sales pitches
4. Tagging people just for impressions
5. Commenting just to start beef
6. Expecting to go viral
7. Hating on others
+ Bonus one:
8. Blaming the algorithm if your posts suck
If you want long-term success...
Don't make these mistakes.
(Please)
P.S - Yes I did write this post purely around this picture. No regrets.

Last week, I made a huge mistake.
On New Year's Day, I shared 2 posts:
1. A post half-written
↳ A framework of a draft
↳ That wasn't fully ready
↳ And wasn't meant to go
2. A hook
↳ With no following post
↳ Or anything else to expand
Because I accidentally scheduled them.
+ Being New Year's Day, I didn't see them.
Oops.
But did these posts:
→ Kill my engagement?
→ Ruin my LinkedIn journey?
→ Crush my business entirely?
Nope.
I deleted them and things went back to normal the next day.
We all make mistakes from time to time.
It's a part of being a human.
They might be embarrassing.
But most of the time?
They're not the end of the world.
