Want to create 7 days' content in 30 minutes using AI?
Congrats, you've been duped by the matrix.
You can write a load of garbage in 30 minutes.
But if you want to write content that is:
- relatable
- insightful
- starts a conversation
it needs to be original. Not regurgitative garbage.
AI tools have their uses, but when content creators rely solely on AI, I simply unfollow them.
Because they have nothing of value to offer me.
Look at any of your favorite content creators on any platform, nobody puts AI at the center of their content creation process.
Have you seen any creators get famous out of AI-generated content?

This got me thinking.
I believe we're all trying to make good content and reach out to people, right?
It's about making real connections with those who follow us or buy from us. Sure, it takes time and a lot of effort. Sometimes it's more work than we expect. If we're starting from scratch, we should learn a new skill or even several skills as well as find our own way of doing things. Then, we spend even more time getting better at it. But in the end, making something great is totally worth it.
I use AI as a helpful and useful tool. It can save a bunch of time, for instance from searching or learning point of view, but it can't replace the personal touch that comes from us, whether we're talking about our work, who we are, or our brand. AI is helpful, but it's not taking our place.

I wanted to reshare this post, as I think it is super insightful and really sums it all up ๐

I wholeheartedly agree.๐
I am working on several websites ๐ and content initiatives at the moment and while AI helps in terms of ideas generation and understanding a segment or buyer (in theory), no one want to read blurbs that sound like they come from ChatGPT et al. ๐ค
Your content MUST speak directly to the intended user or buyer, addressing their problems or interests, in simple, non-flowery terms.
You can play with emotive word choices and humour, show some personality, but use AI sparingly!
2 questions:
1 - Is LMM translated content equally identifiable?
2 - What are the best copywriting resources or educators out there?
I am always keen to learn more!

I will add something that most people donโt seem to grasp right now:
โEveryone wants to use AI to create content but no one over 25 wants to consume content created by AI. That will change because newer generations will not:
a) know the difference, being exposed by AI content(thatโs been made by systems trained on AI made content itself) their whole life, between AI generated and human generated content;
b) feel the need for โnon AI contentโ: you already see groups of teenagers just grouping up in real life to browse Tik Tok in silence, you already see the extremely aggressive vocabulary used by them, you can already notice the neurodivergence caused by the very early (and very premature) exposure to digital products that alter what was considered the โnormal growthโ of neural pathways in the brain;
The lack of empathy, patience and the over-reliance to โready answerโ systems is creating a new species of human being that will be ready to consume AI content at scale without batting eyes. I always think about the โI am legendโ book finale: we will be the last โhomo sapiensโ, which isnโt a judgement about it being good or bad more so that a simple observation.
I think many of you are underestimating the impact of the technologies that emerged in public use in this new decade.

Hmmm. Worth pausing to read this. It's a necessary reminder; humans want to read things written by humans.
I scoffed to myself that we need to remind ourselves this. But here we are.
AI certainly has a role in a writer and content marketer's playbook, but never let it become more than a tool.
I recently came across a marketing agency's deck and a startup's blog. I could detect the ChatGPT-written content instantly in both.
Can this material ever close a sale, generate a lead, or create trust? I wonder.
Remember: everyone wants to use AI to create content but no one wants to consume content created by AI.
Time to go back to basics.
