I used to find LinkedIn SO boring.
But now it's my creative hub.
LinkedIn used to be a sea of grey for me.
Grey suits.
Grey hair.
Grey content.
But it's transformed into one of the most vibrant platforms I engage with daily.
The creativity and expertise in branding, marketing, and communication I see are incredible.
This platform has become a great asset.
Just last week, it helped get me secure another awesome podcast guest.. again!
If you're tired of a dull feed, here's how to spice it up:
> Discover great content:
Use the search function and explore keywords to find topics that interest you.
> Follow interesting people:
Track down users who engage with content you enjoy and follow them.
> Engage actively:
Don't just 'like' posts. Comments and other reactions help deepen connections and make your interactions more meaningful.
> Start posting:
Begin with 1-3 posts a week. Focus on creating engaging, valuable content.
Remember, your feed reflects your preferences.
Change won't happen by itself. You can train the algorithm.

2 years ago, I ran a team at the world’s largest digital publishing house.
Now, I run my own team with employees from around the world.
This is how I encourage teamwork and support:
Set goals.
Build trust.
Listen actively.
Celebrate wins.
Offer resources.
Encourage ideas.
Provide feedback.
Respect everyone.
Learn from setbacks.
Effective leadership is about guiding and supporting, not commanding.
Do you agree?

If you don’t do this, your marketing will never work.
This is the first thing we work on with every new client that works with us.
→ Your positioning.
Forget flashy looks and vanity metrics. Start with the basics.
Think about building a house. You wouldn’t start by picking out door handles, right?
You’d lay down a solid foundation first. It’s the same with marketing.
Positioning is everything.
We’re not the type of marketers that focus on looking good on the surface to start with…
We’re the type of marketers who focus on knowing where you stand and building from there.
Too many marketers skip straight to the aesthetics, (like shiny door handles) without a solid base.
Because that’s the fun bit…
But it’s so damaging.
We don’t make that mistake. We focus on strong foundations.
Once you’ve got that, everything else falls into place.
Start with the foundation, not the frills 👊

I turned 260 posts into real, engaging conversations.
Here’s how:
Are you posting on LinkedIn.. but hearing nothing back?
You’re not the only one staring at a silent feed.
Thinking you’ll draw a crowd of leads with just a few posts is like expecting fish where there's no water.
You've got to put in more effort. Here’s how we do it:
> Analyse the data:
What’s resonating? What’s not? Adapt based on these insights.
> Stay adaptable:
Quick to change when something doesn’t work? That could save your content strategy.
> Keep experimenting:
Sticking to the old ways won’t cut it. Try new tactics and see what sticks.
> Push your boundaries:
Comfort might feel nice, but it won’t help you grow.
> Be authentic:
People connect with people, not profiles. Show your human side.
> Forge true connections:
Really engage. Talk, support and interact. Turn your contacts into meaningful relationships.
Remember, there’s no one size fits all in social media.
Build your approach so it fits your goals and your audience.
Ditch the quiet. Start making some noise and get your voice heard.

I turned nearly 80 podcast episodes into a billion dollar network.
Here’s how:
Podcasts are often overlooked. Sort of like a checkbox.
Oh, your entrepreneurial mate Bob has one, so you felt the pressure to get one too?
But you should really use it to your advantage.
You’re spending the time doing these podcasts, so they should work for you.
Here’s what my podcast does for me:
- Exposure
- Credibility
- Leads
Honestly, the first 8 months I saw zero return on investment.
But for me, giving up wasn’t something I was going to do.
For me, success is about making adjustments and staying the course.
I get a kick out of exploring diverse perspectives and untold stories.
It’s a chance to learn from the best.
The entrepreneurs I’ve spoken to have a combined worth over $1 billion.
So I use this to my advantage and I’ve learnt so bloody much from them all.
Here’s my final two cents for those of you with a podcast but not seeing an ROI:
> Keep at it.
> Shake things up.
> Understand your why.

I stay organised while travelling - here’s my simple secret.
Summer’s here, and it’s tempting to kick back a little, right?
But even on the go, I’ve got to keep my business ticking.
Here are 3 ways I keep everything smooth when travelling:
1. Daily goals:
Each morning, I write down what’s got to get done.
It keeps me on track and accountable.
2. My go to tool:
I use folk - it’s an all in one CRM that keeps my contacts and tasks neatly lined up.
Super handy.
3. Check in time:
I set aside specific times for emails and calls.
No last minute panics or overflowing inboxes.
With these tips, I can enjoy my travels, without dropping the ball. I’m actually on the plane to the UK as you read this!
What tips would you add?

Many businesses miss this important point:
→ The power of using stories to connect with people.
Here are 3 simple steps to make your marketing better with storytelling 👇🏻
Step 1: Find your positioning
Think about what makes your brand special. Why did you start?
What problems do you solve?
What makes you different from others?
Step 2: Shape your message
Turn your story into a clear message that tells people how your brand can make their lives better.
Use this story in all your ads, posts, and talks.
Make sure it’s super easy to understand.
Step 3: Tell everyone
Use every chance to share your story.
The more you tell it, the more people will feel connected to your brand.
When you tell a good story, you don’t just list what you sell - you show why it’s important.

I built 50+ relationships online in just 8 months.
Here's how it changed my view on communication.
Starting my last corporate job online was actually quite difficult.
Thanks to Covid, I spent my first 8 months connecting with colleagues purely through a screen.
Despite the distance, we built strong relationships just by how we shared our stories and positioned ourselves.
This was allllll about online communication.
Similar to marketing.
Even without meeting face to face, you can create real connections.
The essence is the same as online marketing: it's all about how you tell your story and engage with others.
Don’t underestimate it.

I’ve always wanted to make a real difference.
My career started by working with big names like:
- TechRadar
- Marie Claire
- GoCompare
I then built a 6 figure business in the UK, and then moved to Dubai to launch The Healthy Entrepreneur.
Along the way, I also started a podcast and founded a health movement with over 400 members.
Here’s what we achieved last year:
✅ We got on national TV.
✅ LinkedIn News featured us 3 times.
✅ Magazines mention us every month.
✅ Our first event sold out in just a week.
✅ Thousands of listeners on our podcast.
✅ Our content was seen over a million times.
✅ Our newsletter reaches thousands of entrepreneurs.
✅ We tripled our income in the first three months of 2024.
All these wins came from focusing on strong personal branding and smart marketing.
And for me, it started with showing up on LinkedIn.
Don’t underestimate this platform.
